New York City

BloggerImage

It was a grey an ominous morning as we passed the Big Apple at around 10am. Motoring down the East River we passed the FDR drive where we observed joggers and pedestrians going about their business. The new constructions in midtown was as impressive as the Rykers Island hulk of a prison ship rusting away. There were all types of craft in the harbor from tugs towing gravel barges to small sailboats. Of course the Staten Island ferry gave us a run for the money all the way to the Statue of Liberty - where 3 goofballs played their respect.
